The new Mizuno ST-MAX 230 Driver is highlighted by a boundary-pushing, maximum 460cc footprint, and a more expansive, weight-saving composite sole. The weight savings allow for a heavier rear weight positioned exceptionally far from the face, a byproduct of the driver's generously stretched profile. As a result, the ST-MAX 230 produces monumental MOI, making it Mizuno's most forgiving and stable driver ever.
The ST-MAX 230 is long as well, thanks to Mizuno's advanced CORTECH Chamber technology. Encasing a stainless steel weight with elastomeric TPU close to the face, CORTECH reduces spin and creates an additional energy source that boosts ball speed. At the same time, CORTECH reduces stress on the face, granting Mizuno's engineers the ability to construct the face out of a more resilient material. The stronger material allows for a thinner, faster face with a complex multi-thickness design that maintains elite ball speed on mis-hits.
Three stock shafts are available, including the lowest-launching, lowest-spinning HZRDUS Smoke Green RDX, mid-launch, mid-spin Kai'li Blue, and the highest-launching, highest-spinning LIN-Q M40X Red.
